The Victoria Hotel Budapest is located in the heart of historical downtown of Budapest, on the Buda side, directly on the riverside of the Danube. History of the Hotel Victoria:
Hotel Victoria was originally built at another location in Budapest as the first private hotel after World War II in 1983. As at that time the private accommodation business was obviously not accepted, the state forced the owners to sell the hotel to a state-owned company. Fortunately the company didn’t want to buy the name: Hotel Victoria.
Some years later the construction of the new Hotel Victoria began and it was opened in 1990 with one of the best location in Budapest, on the riverside of Danube in the center of the city with a spectacular view from all hotel rooms to Budapest.
The hotel offers all major services for tourists and business people. The primary aim of the owners is to operate Hotel Victoria as the best Boutiquehotel in Budapest. We understand that the expression Boutiquehotel is not very well-known in Budapest yet, however building on this location and quality of service hopefully it will soon become largely popular.
Hotel Victoria offers 27 air-conditioned rooms with bathroom (tub/shower), all giving on to the Danube, 2 rooms with balcony.
