Hotel Astoria was a good choice for business and leisure. In spite of being located at the crossing of two main streets, there was practically no traffic noise up on the sixth floor. Our room was spatious and beutifully renovated. My wife and I were quite satisfied with this visit to Budapest..

Dear Budapest Hotel Reservation Gang! We had a wonderful time in Budapest and loved your beautiful city. Our experience at the Hotel Pest was the best of any hotel during our trip to Germany and Eastern Europe. The employees, Henrik (spelling?) and Laci (spelling?) were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. The young lady who checked us in to the hotel and who helped us with a taxi during our departure was also very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not get her name. We cannot say too many favorable things about our visit to Budapest. We found all the people in the city friendly and happy to serve us despite the fact that we were the "typical American tourists"!! We have recommended a vist to lovely Budapest to all of our friends, particularly a stay at the Hotel Pest! Also a big thanks to Georg who was so kind to come to the train station to transport us to the hotel. Thanks again, Art and Helen Thiele, Scottsbluff, Nebraska
